The 23-year-old Boyd has compiled eight goals and 11 assists in 60 games for the Flames this season.

He has 28 goals and 57 points in 192 career NHL games -- all with Calgary, which selected the Winnipeg native in the third round (98th overall) of the 2004 draft.
